The Katy Varsity team jumped out to a big lead in the home game against Taylor. Andrew Hilton and Sutton Hull both went 2-2 at the plate while Nayden Ramirez came up big with a triple on a line drive to right field bringing in 3 runs. The team combined had 7 hits on the night. Catcher Brady Englett was rock solid behind the plate with 8 put outs while Pitchers Lucas Moore and Cole Kaase each had 4 strikeouts. Katy won the game 10-5.
