Wrestling has been a UIL Sanctioned sport since 1998. Since then, the Tigers have had 13 Individual State Champions, and countless state qualifiers.

Katy Wrestling has been a UIL Sanctioned sport since 1998. Since then, the Tigers have had 13 Individual State Champions, as well as countless state place winners.

The team begins practice in mid-October and competes from November through February. Events consist of both dual meet (team vs. team) and individual tournament competitions. The program has both a boys and girls team.

Being a good wrestler does not often require extreme athletic ability, but it does require a strong work ethic and commitment.
