Take a Stroll
The Tiger Echo has documented life at Katy High School for decades. Archives show editions dating back as early as 1938. Over the years it captured classes, clubs, sports teams, events and the daily moments that shape a school community. Inside each volume you find more than just portraits. The Tiger Echo reflects how the school and the surrounding community evolved. Early editions show a much smaller school, tied to a rural past. As Katy grew, the pages filled with bigger classes, expanded athletics and a diverse student body.
More recent editions give a look at traditions now woven into Katy High’s culture: Homecomings, sports championships, theater shows, student clubs and the friendships that span generations. For many alumni the Tiger Echo becomes a time capsule. Flipping through old pages brings back memories of locker rooms, pep rallies, first football games under stadium lights, and the everyday faces of classmates now scattered across the country.
This page gathers a selection of yearbook covers, and if you ever want to take a trip down memory lane, the Tiger library maintains copies of Katy High School’s history of yearbooks to look through.
