Updated through 2025
The Katy Football Record Book has been updated to include the superlative achievements of the 2025 team which include a new program record for Rushing Yards Per Game and the extension of the state’s longest streak of consecutive 10-win seasons among many others.
What started during the 2022 season, when questions surfaced about Rodney Anderson’s career rushing record as Seth Davis chased it, has now grown into a living document that tracks every major milestone through the 2025 season. The Katy Tiger Football Record Book exists so no record, no stat line, and no legacy moment gets lost to time.
At Katy, sustained excellence is not a short chapter. It spans generations. State championships, playoff runs, record setting performances, and players who went on to compete at the highest levels are all part of the story. This updated Katy Tiger Football Record Book stands as a tribute to every player, coach, administrator, teacher, student, and fan who helped build it. It honors the standard that has defined Katy football for decades and preserves it for the next group ready to chase history.
The Record Book
The Katy Football Record Book is the most complete record available at this time and it will be updated as we go forward and as data is discovered. Within the document you’ll find: team offensive and defensive single season and single game records; individual career, single season, and single game records for passing, rushing, receiving, defense, and special teams; a complete log of all games versus 11-man competition going back to 1944, with a breakdown of our record against each opponent.
Our dataset from 2010 forward is complete, as far as team and individual stats, but prior to that we’ve gathered as much as possible along with known prior records to construct the records as they’re presented here.
It has been an honor and a privilege to work on this project and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Coach Joseph and his staff and folks like Robert Willeby and Jeremy McGrail who had held on to prior iterations of the school records.
