The boys varsity track team competed at the Stratford Invitational Relays at Stratford High School this past Saturday. There were 13 teams competing. The boys team placed in a tie for 7th place overall with Memorial and James E. Taylor.

The top performers for the boys were:
• 100 M Dash - Kyle Fulks 2nd Place
• 200 M Dash - Kyle Fulks 1st Place - MEET RECORD and SCHOOL RECORD time of 21.44 (FAT) This breaks the old school record of 21.6 set by Andrew Byrd in 2007.
• 3200 M Run - Indy Wachtendorf 6th Place - SCHOOL RECORD of 9:51.14
• 110 M Hurdles - Isaiah Brown 6th Place
• 4 x 100 M Relay - Drake Dowling, James "Ricardo" Montalbano, Steven Burdette, Kyle Fulks, 2nd Place
• 4 x 200 M Relay - Drake Dowling, James Montalbano, Steven Burdette, Chris Harper, 6th Place
• Distance Medley Relay - Carson Wilder, Adam Victor, Frank Salazarv, Brian Gonzalez, 4th Place

Two members of the boys varsity track team competed at the Texas Southern University Relays over this past Spring Break. This is a very large meet consisting of teams from across the state.

Kyle Fulks placed 2nd in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Kyle is ranked as one of the top sprinters in the state and, with his current times, will have the opportunity to qualify and do well at the state meet in Austin later this Spring.
